Vitagora’s mission is to use innovation to foster the growth of its member companies in
order to gain ground in high value food markets. The tools of sustainable food systems
are deployed in the development of food products and services for 3 priority markets:
- Manufactured food products,
- Cooking appliances,
- Functional food and dietary supplements.
Vitagora® already fosters innovation in integrated services and new opportunities at the crossroads of these markets, building bridges between different value chains. Vitagora® has 200 members, including 156 companies (80% SME and 20% multinational companies) in three French regions: Burgundy, the Paris region, and Franche-Comté. Vitagora® unites leaders of industry (Lesieur, Danone, Seb, Merck Consumer Healthcare, Dijon Céréales etc.) with research (INRA, CSGA etc.) and higher education establishments (Agrosup Dijon, Agroparistech, University of Burgundy, University of Franche-Comté). Vitagora® acts as a catalyst between industry, scientific or technical players in order to create and launch collaborative innovation projects that meet each partner’s needs.
